On Christmas Eve, 2022, Jason Travis Ruppe celebrated Christmas with his earthly family, just like they had done for all of his 52 years on this planet, since his birth on March 8, 1970.

Three days later, on December 27, 2022,  Jason went to celebrate with Christ Himself and his earthly father, Wallace Jason Ruppe, who had preceded him in Death.

Left on Earth to mourn his absence is  his mother, Ruth Oree Hooper Harton Ruppe. Jason was her dedicated and devoted Caretaker for many years.  Also left behind were one brother, Mark Christopher Harton, wife Vikki, and one sister, Eva Robin Hodge, and her friend Richard Glover.

Robin has two daughters, Jason's nieces. They are Amber Nicole Hodge, and Jessie Marie Davis, and husband Dustin. Also, many cousins and friends. Jason, we all Wish You Were Here! But we would never ask you to return.

Jason was a giver throughout his entire life. He made his final and ultimate gift the day after his death  when  his viable organs were harvested. He would encourage all of you to be an organ donor as well and help as many people as you possibly can throughout YOUR life.

Jason attended Holly Springs Baptist Church,  Shiloh Elementary School, and Chase High School, where he played saxophone in the Marching Band. He had a lifelong love for music, and the rock group RUSH was his favorite, as well as the Grateful Dead.

He took many classes at Isothermal Community College, where he made the Dean's List. He was also an avid fan of the Forest City Owls baseball team.

His Homegoing Celebration will be a private affair, but once we get over the initial shock, we will announce a Public Celebration for all his friends and family that want to participate. Also, any donations made to the American Heart Association in his memory would be awesome! Thank you!
