Jayne Morrow Bunn, age 68, of Rutherfordton, NC, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

A native of Rutherford County, Jayne was the daughter of the late Clarence Morrow and the late Mildred Guffey Morrow. Jayne loved being around horses and riding them. She also enjoyed doing crafts. But the one thing she loved above all, were her grandbabies. She loved all of her family unconditionally, but her two grandchildren had a very special place in Jayne's heart.

Left to cherish Jayne's memory is her husband of 48 years, Phillip W. Bunn, her daughter, Caryn Ashley Caswell and her husband Matt, four sisters, Ernestine Lewis, Kathy Jenkins and husband Mike, Ann Womick and husband Scott, and Robin Womick, and two grandchildren, Zachary Wayne Caswell, and Jonathan Allen Caswell.

The service will be at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery in the chapel area of the mausoleum at 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 26, 2024. Jayne will lie-in-state thirty minutes prior to the service in the chapel mausoleum. Entombment will follow at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, please give to a charity of your choice in honor of Jayne. McMahan's Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
