Jerrie York Fite, age 75, of Forest City, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021, at The Retreat in Gaffney, SC.

She was the daughter of the late Russell and Belear York and she was a native of Rutherford County. Jerrie was a member at Mount Vernon Baptist Church in Forest City, NC. She worked as a yarn winder at Eaton for many years. Jerrie was a loving mother and loved her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren dearly.

Jerrie is survived by, two daughters Sonya Fite Rogers, (John) of Rutherfordton, Michele Fite Dolezel of Arden, NC, one sister, Brenda York Stewart, of Forest City, five grandchildren, Jason Buff, (Mabel) of Gaffney, Michael Kent Horn of Forest City, Cassi Denton, (Dan) of Rutherfordton, Russell Callahan (Stephanie), of Waxhaw, NC, and Specialist Spencer Callahan (Ashley) of Clarksville, TN, and seven great-grandchildren.

There will be time on Tuesday September 21, 2021, from 2:00PM to 6:00PM to drop by the home of Sonya and John Rogers.
