Jerry McEntyre, age 49, of Forest City, NC, died Monday, May 22, 2023.

A native of Rutherford County, Jerry was the son of Barbara Barnett, and the late Jerry McEntyre Sr.. Jerry worked as a pipefitter, and he was a member of Oak Springs Baptist Church. In addition to his father, Jerry was preceded in death by his brother, Benny McEntyre. Survivors include, two daughters, Lindi Outz (DJ), and Jessica Rogers-Brown, one son, Austin McEntyre (Ashley), wife, Tammy McEntyre, his mother, Barbara Barnett, two sisters, Rachel McEntyre, and Michelle McEntyre, and six grandchildren, Abby Grace McEntyre, Ella Mae McEntyre, Jaxon Alexander McEntyre, Moxxi Zagorski, Zoe K. Brown, and Naya S. Brown.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Friday May 26, 2023, at McMahan's Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Friday May 26, 2023, at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Chad Sisk officiating. Interment will be at Oak Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. McMahan's Funeral Home & Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
