Jimmy "Keith" Shehan, age 64, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023, at his home.

A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Jimmy Keith Shehan, Sr., and surviving him, Joyce Shehan Dobbins of Rutherfordton. Keith worked as an electrician for many years with Fountain Electric, and he also worked at the Rutherford Regional Hospital working maintenance.

In addition to his mother, Joyce Shehan Dobbins, Keith is survived by his four daughters, Brandi Shehan of Maryland, Jessica Bourne of Maryland, Crystal Shehan of North Carolina, and Samantha Gantt and her husband Deran of Ellenboro, and three grandchildren, Ian McLaughlin, Chase Bourne, and Lilly Bourne.

There will a gathering where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Sunday, May 14, 2023 at McMahan's Funeral Home. McMahan's Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
