John Roman, III, age 81, of Forest City, NC, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Hilltop Health & Rehabilitation, in Rutherfordton, NC.

A native of Stamford CT, John was the son of the late John Roman Jr. and the late Anne Dyer Roman. John worked at the Radio Station in Stamford CT for many years. One of John's favorite things to do was lifeguarding in Stamford CT. In his younger years he loved to hunt and fish when he could.

John is survived by his brother, Robert Roman and his wife Jane of Lincoln, CA, niece, Melissa Roman, nephew, Rob Roman, and several cousins in New England.

In accordance with John's wishes there will be no local services.
