Joyce Wade Dye, age 99, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Thursday, October 22, 2020, at Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills.

She was the daughter of the late Roy and Neil Wade and she was a native of McMinn County in TN. Joyce was the widow of the late William Dye. She was a member at Green Hill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by, one daughter, Donna Dye, one sister Geraldine Wade, three brothers, Norman Wade, Johnny Wade, and Dexter Wade.

Joyce is survived by:

One Daughter: Brenda Avey

Three Sisters: Billie, Neil, and Jenny

Two Grandchildren: William Raymond and wife Ann, and Robert Raymond and wife Monica,

and five great-grandchildren.

There will be a private, family only, graveside service held in honor of Joyce. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, P.O. Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
