Judy Kay McCurry Henson, age 75, of Rutherfordton, North Carolina, died Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Willow Ridge Rehabilitation & Living Center.

Judy was a native of Rutherford County and was the daughter of the late Clyde Pearson McCurry and the late Meldora Greenlee McCurry Lewis. Judy was a very loving mother and grandmother, and a friend to all her friends and family. In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband Lowell Bruce Henson and her stepfather, Edgar Hicks Lewis. She was a member of Mountain Creek Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Amy Denise Henson of Rutherfordton, NC; her son, Alex Lowell Henson of Spartanburg, SC, and four grandchildren: Ashtyn Grace Henson, Aubrey Mikaya Henson, Alivia Faith Padgett, and Kyle Trey Wilson.

A private graveside service will be held at Mountain Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
