Julius Franklin "Frank" Lattimore, age 79, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Thursday, May 14, 2020, at his home. He was the son of the late James Thomas Lattimore and the late Nell Eplee Lattimore and a native of Rutherford County.  He was a member of White Oak Baptist Church in Fines Creek.  Frank was retired from the trucking industry with 37 years of service.  He loved deer hunting.  Frank loved most,  family time and giving away fruits and vegtables by the truck load to all his friends. He is  survived by his wife: Betty G. Lattimore. One Son: Todd Lattimore and his wife Myra of Bostic, NC Step-Son: Randy Taylor Step-Daughters: Joyce Bailey Sherry Silvers Nancy McPherson Danielle Aley Two Brothers: Charles Lattimore of Rutherfordton. Steve Lattimore of  Roanoke VA 16 Grandchildren 17 Great-Grandchildren Frank will lie-in-state Saturday from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at McMahan's Funeral Home for those wishing to stop by and pay their respects. The Graveside service will be at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery Polk Co. at 3:00 PM, Sunday, May 17, 2020 with Reverend Warren Elliott, Kelly Williams and Reverend Marty Nelson officiating.  Please be respectful and allow for social distancing at the ceremony.  In lieu of flowers memorials  may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills; P O Box 336 Forest City, NC 28043.  McMahan's Funeral Home & Cremation Services in charge of arrangements.
