Kim Hardin Waters, age 58, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022, at her home.

She was the daughter of the late Bruce Hardin and the late Carolyn Kimbrell, and she was a native of Rutherford County. Kim loved her three daughters, and her grandchildren dearly. She was a dedicated wife and mother, and she will be greatly missed. In addition to her parents Kim was preceded in death by one brother, Scott Hardin.

Kim is survived by, three daughters, Valerie Waters (Roger), Jennifer Escalera (Luis),

Stephanie Waters, two sisters, Melanie Jackson, and Lisa Martin, three brothers, Brent Hardin, Gary Hardin, and Phillip Hardin, three grandchildren, Chaslyn Wheeler, Giana, and Jahsiah Carson.

There will be a gathering of friends and family Tuesday, July 26, 2022, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at McMahan's Funeral Home. Following the visitation friends and family will share memories from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM. McMahan's Funeral Home & Cremation Services in charge of arrangements.
