Leroy Mull, age 74, of Spindale, died Friday, April 15, 2016, at Holly Springs Senior Citizens Home in Rutherfordton. He was a native of Burke County, NC and the son of the late Nolan Garland Mull and the late Merle Bess Mull. He was the Golf Pro at the Rutherfordton Golf Club for over 30 years and loved to teach golf especially to the junior golfers. His work and vacations were filled with golf. He is survived by his wife: Hilda Mull. One Daughter: Janet Mull Hughes and husband George of Rutherfrodton One Sister: Suzanne Mull Smith and husband Alvin of Albemarle, NC Two Brothers: Nolan Mull and wife Betty of Eden, NC Gary Mull and wife Sondra of Myrtle Beach, NC Two Grandchildren: Madalyn and Mackenzie Hughes and a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM, Sunday, April 17, 2016 with Rev. Tim Marsh and Rev. Terry Honeycutt officiating. Visitation will follow the funeral service at McMahan's. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Rutherfordton Bulding Fund at P.O. Box 839 Rutherfordton, NC 28139.
