Lorraine Gallion Haney, age 94, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Monday, August 19, 2024, at her home.

A native of Buncombe County, Lorraine was the daughter of the late Clyde Gallion and the late Matilda Gallion.  Lorraine was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn R. Haney, her grandson, Chad Haney, and two sisters, and two brothers.

She is survived by two daughters, Diane Hodge (Tommy), and Tammy Hill (Alan), three sons, Buddy G. Haney (LuAnn), Randy L. Haney (Tammy), and Ricky L. Haney (Laura), two sisters, Carolyn Parks, and Joan Hunter (Bobby), eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Calvary Baptist Church. The Funeral service will be at Calvary Baptist Church at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 24, 2024 with Reverend Kenneth Simpson officiating. Interment will be at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery.  McMahan's Funeral Home & Crematory in charge of arrangements.
