Louise Cole Allison, age 82, of the Green Creek Community, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Louise was born on August 29, 1943, to the late Ben and Ollis Cole. A native of Polk County, she was a devoted member of Green River Baptist Church, where she faithfully shared her gift of music as the church pianist for 67 years. Louise dedicated 37 years of service to Stonecutter Mills and later served her community through 10 years of work at the Senior Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas “Tommy” Edward Allison, and her sister, Iris Bashore.

Louise is survived by her daughter, Jill A. Pritchard (Shane), two grandchildren, Caleb Smith, and Brianna Smith, one great-granddaughter, Elena Grace Francis, and a niece and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM, Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Green River Baptist Church. The funeral service will be at Green River Baptist Church at 3:30 PM, Sunday, July 5, 2026, with Reverend Gary Curtis officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
