Louise Hill, age 92, of Forest City, NC, died Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at Fair Haven Home in Bostic, NC. She was the daughter of the late Edgar Thomas Hill and Ethel Hill. She was preceded in death by a brother Fred Lee Hill. Louise was a U S Army Veteran of WW II and the Korean War and she retired from the Army as a registered nurse after obtaining the rank of Captain. She was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Rutherford County Chapter and the American Legion. She is survived by her caregivers: Toni and Matt Ferguson. The memorial service will be held Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of McMahan's Funeral Home with Reverend Deacon Andy Cilone officiating. Military honors provided by the Rutherford County Honor Guard following the service. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Fair Haven Home of Bostic activity department; 149 Fair Haven Drive; Bostic, NC 28018.
