Mae Bell Head West, age 84, of Rutherfordton, died Monday, February 20, 2017, at Hospice House of Rutherford County. She was a native of Rutherford County and the daughter of the late Lane Price and the late Ina Mae Hudgins. She was a member of Single Hollow Congregational Holiness Church and was a loving mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Albert Head and her second husband Broadus West. She is survived by: One Son: Albert Eugene Head and wife Pattie of Rutherfordton. One Sister: Eunice Ware of Spindale One Brother: Robert Hudgins and his wife Dorothy of Rutherfordton One Grandson Glenn Head and wife Beth One Great-Granddaughter Rhianna Head The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Shingle Hollow Congregational Holiness Church. The funeral service will be at Shingle Hollow Congregational Holiness Church at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 22, 2017 with Reverend Jack Crain officiating.
