Marc Christian Widener, age 51, of Spindale, NC, passed away Friday, August 19, 2022 at his home.

He was the son of Dean and Lynda Walker Widener, and a native of Rutherford County. Marc had a passion for music. One of his favorite things to do was attending concerts.

In addition to his parents, Marc is survived by his sister, Adena Widener (Chad), one aunt, Brenda Walker, and many loyal, and longtime friends.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Thursday, August 25, 2022, at McMahan's Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at McMahan's Funeral Home at 2:00 PM, Thursday, August 25, 2022, with Reverend Peter Surran officiating. Interment will be at Southern Baptist Church Cemetery in Rutherfordton following the service.
