Margaret Briscoe Gibson, age 88, of Union Mills, NC, died Friday, November 25, 2016, at White Oak Manor Nursing Home in Rutherfordton, NC. She was the daughter of the late Gonnie Briscoe and the late Ola Briscoe and a native of Rutherford County. Margaret was a lifelong member of Oak Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by three brothers; Soloman, Daniel and Edward Briscoe and four sisters; Joan Curry, Melba Royster, Lilly Hensley and Ailene Briscoe. She is survived by One Son: Gerald M. Gibson and his wife Peggy of Burlington, NC One Grandson: Jarred Gibson of Fort Worth, TX The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Monday, November 28, 2016 at the church prior to the service. The Funeral service will be at Oak Springs Baptist Church at 2:00 PM, Monday, November 28, 2016 with Reverend Darold Crawford and Reverend Don Hollifield officiating.
