Margaret Louise Wallace, age 85, of Ellenboro, NC, passed away Monday, April 25, 2022, at her home.

She was the daughter of the late Julius Franklin Lane and the late Bertha Conner Lane. Margaret was a native of Rutherford County and was the widow of the late Don Wallace.

In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by one brother, Junior Lane.

She is survived by one daughter, Judy Jackson, (Johnny Jackson) of Ellenboro, three stepdaughters, Donna Regal (Darcy) of St. Louis, MO, June Splawn (Douglas) of Rutherfordton, Carrie Wallace of Forest City, one stepson, Ronald Marvin Wallace (Nancy) of Cummings, GA, two sisters, Shirley Griffin, of Union Mills, Carolyn Spurlin, (Gene) of Forest City, one brother, Roy Lane, of Union Mills, grandchildren, John Andrew Jackson, of NY, David Carl Jackson, of Forest City, and several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 30, 2022, at McMahan's Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 30, 2022. Interment will follow at Oak Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Rutherfordton, NC. McMahan's Funeral Home & Cremation Services in charge of arrangements.
