Mark Edwards, age 70, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2023, at his home.

Mark was a native of Rutherford County and he was the son of the late Max and La Vonne Edwards. Mark was very involved with the Rutherfordton Little League, it had a special place in his heart. In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Ann Edwards.

Mark is survived by his daughter, Leah Edwards (Aaron Miller), his son, John Edwards, and one granddaughter, Scarlett Miller.

There will be a gathering of family and friends 1:00PM to 3:00PM, Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at McMahan's Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at Eternal Hills Memorial Park Wednesday January 24, 2024. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rutherfordton Little League, P.O. Box 1116 Rutherfordton, NC 28139. McMahan's Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
