Martha Parker Greene, age 77, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Sunday, December 22, 2013, at White Oak Manor Nursing Home. She was a native of Rutherford County and daugher of the late Robert and Mary Irene Parker. She was the widow of the Furman Geene II. Martha was a member of Southern Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her son Furman "Jay" Greene III and two brothers Clarence and Ray Parker; two sisters Hattie Greene and Virginia Doty. The Funeral service will be at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 PM, Thursday, December 26, 2013 with Rev. John Perry officiating. Interment will be at Southern Baptist Church Cemetery.
