Martha Morrow Parker, age 93, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Monday, May 15, 2017, at White Oak Manor Nursing Home in Rutherfordton. She was the daughter of the late Clifford Morrow and the late Zettie Mathis Morrow and a native of Rutherford County. Martha was of the Lutheran faith. She attended Second Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Nelson Lee Parker and four brothers Broncel Morrow, Dazel Morrow, Howard Morrow and J. C. Morrow and two sisters; Marie Lail, Pam Hames. Her home place was the property that the Rutherford County Airport is located now. She is also survived by One Daughter: Judy Parker Stacy and her husband Paul of Columbus, NC One Grand-daughter; Cherie Pressley of Chesnee, S C. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Thursday, May 18, 2017 at McMahan's. The Funeral service will be at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 PM, Thursday, May 18, 2017 with Paul Stacy officiating. Interment will be at Eternal Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County or Meals on Wheels.
