Martha Rhodes Smith, age 84, of Yorktown, VA, died Saturday, March 11, 2017, at Regency Rehab Nursing Home in Yorktown, VA. She was a native of Rutherford County and the daughter of the late William Pink Rhodes and the late Clara Bradley Rhodes. She was retired from Stonecutter Mills. She was the widow of the late Norman Smith. She is survived by: One Son: Bobby Smith and wife Denise of Yorktown, VA Three Sisters: Elizabeth Lee Lois Searcy Opal Brim One Brother: Garland Rhodes Two Grandchildren: Kyle Smith April Peters and husband Matt Two Great-Grandchildren: Eben Peters and Haley Peters A graveside service will be at Mount Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 17, 2017 with Reverend Richard Bass officiating.
