Mary Florence Koone Lovelace, age 89, of Union Mills, NC, died Saturday, February 17, 2018, at Oakland Living Center . She was the daughter of the late Ernest Koone and the late Gladys Haynes Koone, widow of the late Ernest (Jack) Lovelace and a native of Rutherford County. Mary Florence was a member of Piney Knob Baptist Church. She retired from Broughton Hospital as a registered nurse serving for 30 years. She was preceded in death by a brother Curtis Koone. She is survived by One Son: Timothy Lovelace and his wife Linda of Forest City One Sister: Genevieve Arrowood of Union Mills One Grandchild: Kim Bridges Two Great-Grandchildren: Tyler Bridges and Garrett Bridges. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, February 19, 2018 at McMahan's Funeral Home. The Funeral service will be at Piney Knob Baptist Church at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 20, 2018 with Reverend Michael Brown and Reverend Rick Wall officiating. Interment will be at Piney Knob Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Piney Konb Baptist Church; building fund; 1534 Piney Knob Road; Rutherfordton N C 28139.
