Mary L. Taub, age 77, of Forest City, died Monday, December 26, 2022, at Accordius Health at Rutherford.

She was the daughter of the late J D Beaver and Opal Beaver. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Steven Taub.

Mary was a native of Rutherford County. She loved to craft and read books. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include, one daughter, Randi Bifulco and her husband Vinnie, one son, Michael Taub and his wife Angie, three sisters, Lyn Harmeyer, Cheryl Hutchins and her husband Steve, Bonita Butler and her husband Wayne, three grandchildren, Aaron Taub, Leah Taub, and Caleb Taub

The family will receive friends Monday, January 2, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 5:45 PM at McMahan's Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 6:00 PM Monday, January 2, 2023, at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel with Joe Cooper officiating. Interment will be at Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, Black Mountain, NC. An online guest register is available at www.mcmahansfuneralhome.com.
