Matthew Stanley Bostic, age 29, of Rutherfordton, left his earthly home on Saturday, May 7, 2016, and was received into the arms of his Lord Jesus Christ. He was a native of Rutherford County and the son of Paul "Tommy" Bostic and Laura McDaniel Bostic Taylor. Matthew was a 2005 graduate of R-S Central High School and a 2014 graduate of Ashford University with an Associates of Arts degree. He was a member of Second Baptist Church of Rutherfordton and a loving husband and father. He was preceded in death by Paternal Grandparents Hoke and Pansy Bostic and Maternal Great Grandparents James and Doris McDaniel. He is survived by: His wife and the mother of his children Stephanie Williams Bostic. Two Daughters: Matilyne Grace Bostic Annahlee Hope Bostic Maternal Grandparents: Stanley and Ellen McDaniel In-Laws: Alan and Adina Hopper Terry and JoAnne Williams Two Uncles: Jim and Paul McDaniel and a great number of extended family. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Second Baptist Church of Rutherfordton. The memorial service will be at Second Baptist of Rutherfordton at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, May 11, 2016 with Rev. Brandon Wood and Rev. Dr. Keith Stephenson officiating. Inurnment will be at Rutherfordton City Cemetery.
