Melissa Susan  Saine Hudson, age 65, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020, at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.

She was the daughter of the late Ransom Lee and the late O'lena Hardin Saine and she was a native of Rutherford County, NC she was born November 15, 1955. In addition to her parents Melissa was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Olivia Hudson. Melissa was a member of Adaville Baptist Church and she played the piano for over 33 years there.

She is survived by her loving husband: James W. Hudson.

Eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren

The funeral service will be at Adaville Baptist Church at 3:00 PM, Tuesday December 22, 2020 with Reverend Jeff Pate and Reverend Cal Sayles officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Interment will be at Adaville Baptist Church Cemetery.
