Mildred  Russell Ezell, age 93, of Forest City, passed away Friday, June 28, 2024, at Fair Haven of Forest City.

She was a native of Rutherford County. She was the daughter of the late J.E. Sarratt and Epsie Henson Sarratt. In addition to her parents Mildred was preceded in death by her first husband John Dupree Russell and her second husband Dr. James E. Ezell; three brothers Glenn Sarratt, Louis Sarratt and Robert Sarratt; one sister Mary Francis Sarratt.

Mildred was a member of Grace Missionary Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Pamela Russell Morrow, and Angela Denise Russell, son-in-law, Keith Parker, two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at McMahan's Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Tony Rayfield and Reverend Alan Toney officiating.
