Mitchell "Mickey" Rubenstein, age 82, of Hendersonville, NC, died Monday, November 21, 2016, at Pardee Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Bronx, NY and the son of the late Louis Rubenstein and the late Ethel Smorgan Rubenstein. Mickey played basketball for Michigan State where he met his wife Jayne in 1955 and they were married for 61 and a half years. He is survived by his wife: Jayne Edwards Rubenstein. Two Daughters: Teresa Alfonzo and husband Armando of Vermont Lori Wald and husband Douglas of Bethesda, MD One Sister: Hope Casser of California Three Grandchildren One Step Granchild Two Step Great-Grandchildren.
