Parks Wilson, age 80, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away Monday, March 31, 2025, at Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills.

A native of Rutherford County, Parks was the son of the late Adam and Ruth Wilson. In addition to his parents Parks was preceded in death by two brothers, Bob Wilson, and Jake Wilson.  Parks retired from the Rutherford County School System as a carpenter.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Elizabeth Wilson, his daughter, Beth Wilson, his son, John Wilson, one brother, Boyce Wilson, and six grandchildren, Ruthy Jones, Julia Wilson, Jayden Wilson, Nathaniel Brady, Jacob Jones, and Nicholas Brady.

A memorial service Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at 4:00PM at Union Methodist Church.
