Parris "Pete" Edward Kendrick, 69, of Rutherfordton, died Monday, March 12, 2012, at Hospice House of Rutherford County in Forest City, NC. A native of Cleveland Co NC he was the son of the late Lewis and Annette Kendrick. He was a retired truck driver and did small engine repair service. He was a dedicated member and worker on the grounds and building commitee at Wilson Baptist Church, a avid fisherman and U.S. Army Veteran. He is survived by Four Sons: James Lewis Kendrick, Smyrna, SC Jody Lynn Kendrick, Smyrna, SC Robert Dean Kendrick, Augusta, GA Jerry Lee Kendrick, Pigeon Forge, TN Two Sisters: Mona K. Beheeler, Hollis, NC Miriam K. Cantrell, Rutherfordton, Two Brothers: David Lee Kendrick, Rutherfordton, Samuel Bruce Kendrick Sr. Rutherfordton, Step Son Stanley Tyndall of Mooresville NC Step Mother- Mae Kendrick of Rutherfordton 16 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren Funeral services will be at Wilson Baptist Church at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, March 14, 2012 with the Rev. Troy Dorsey officiating. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service. The visitation will follow the service. Interment will be in Wilson Baptist Church Cemetery.
