Patricia "Pat" F. McArdle, age 89, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away Friday, May 16, 2025, at Hilltop Health & Rehabilitation.

A native of Buncombe County, Pat was the daughter of the late Philo Fisher and the late Edna Fisher Harper. In addition to her parents Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Grant Clayton McArdle Sr., and her brother, Robert Fisher.

Pat is survived by two sons, Grant Clayton McArdle Jr. of NC, Heath Martin McArdle and his wife Terry of FL, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

There will be a private service in honor of Pat. McMahan's Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
