Paul Stanley "Penny" Amos, age 72, of Rutherfordton, died Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at Willow Ridge Rehabilitation & Living Center.

He was the son of the late Carl Amos and the late Annie Lou Amos. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Cathy Roark and a brother Troy Amos.

Paul was a native of Rutherford County and a U S Army veteran. He was a retired carpenter and a member of Riverside Baptist Church.

Survivors include:

Two daughters, Kelly Cudd and her husband Brian, Amy Carroll, and her husband Chris, two sisters, Bonnie Henderson, and Shirley Holland, special friend, Jane Shaffer, and four grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Saturday, June 5, 2021 at McMahan's Funeral Home.  The memorial service will be at 6:00 PM Saturday, June 5, 2021 at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel with Nathan Chapman officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Carolina Foothills P.O. Box 336 Forest City, NC 28043.
