Pauline Henson Gibson, age 85, of Forest City, NC, went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.

A native of Polk County, Pauline was the daughter of the late Bobby Camp and the late Correll Ezell Camp. Pauline was recently attending Pleasant View Community Church. She loved the Lord with her entire heart, and she knew the bible inside and out. Pauline also taught Sunday School for many many years at her previous church. She loved to bake cakes for any and every occasion, and she was a very hard worker. Pauline loved, adored, and spoiled her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Henson, two sisters, Ruby Shehan, and Jeanette Gowan, and one brother, Robert Lewis Camp Jr..

Pauline is survived by her two daughters, Joan H. Jolley, and Carol Henson Dills, two sisters, Hazel Moore, and Marie Parker (Defoy), one sister-in-law, Rosa Camp, three grandchildren, Michael Jolley (Holly), Emily Eubanks (Glenn), Monica Williams (Matt), seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at Pleasant View Community Church. The funeral service will be at Pleasant View Community Church at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 23, 2024, with Pastor Phillip Duncan officiating. Interment will be private for the family only. The family will be at the home of Joan H. Jolley. Memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospitals for Children, 2900 N. Rocky Point Dr. Tampa, FL 36607. McMahan's Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
