Ray Pittman, age 89, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at Holly Springs Senior Citizens Home . He was the son of the late Fate Pittman and the late Maude Parker Pittman and a native of McDowell County. He was first married to the late Emma Pittman and second to the late Mary Gordon Stroud Pittman. Ray was a U S Air Force veteran of the Korean War and a member of Piedmont Baptist Church. He is survived by Three Daughters: Robin P. Taylor and her husband John Keena P. Turner and her husband Mike Vicki P. Hughes and her husband Joe One Sister: Doris Edwards Two Brothers: Dean Pittman George Pittman Two Grandchildren: Jonathan Taylor and Isaac Hughes Two Great-Grandchildren The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, Monday, February 12, 2018 at First Baptist Church. The Memorial service will be at First Baptist Church of Rutherfordton at 1:00 PM, Monday, February 12, 2018 with Reverend Tim Marsh officiating. Interment will be private.
