Reba Jolley Simpson, age 73, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away  Monday, November 6, 2023, at Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills.

She was the daughter of the late Herman and Vernell Jolley, and a native of Polk County.  Reba was the widow of the late Joe Simpson. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Joyce Jolley, Mary J. Searcy, Howard Jolley, James Jolley, and Boyd Jolley.

Survivors include one son, Josh Simpson (Ginny), and one grandson Wyatt Hugh Simpson, one sister,  Nan J. Allen, and one brother, Charlie Jolley (Linda).

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Friday, November 10, 2023, at McMahan's Funeral Home.  The interment will be private for the family with Reverend Peter Surran officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills; P O Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043. McMahan's Funeral Home & Crematory in charge of arrangements.
