Robert Allen Bischoff, age 78, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020, at his home in Rutherfordton.

He was the son of the late Louis Bischoff and he was a native of Florida. Bob was a graduate of the University of Florida and a career IBM'er. Bob was a devoted husband for 54 years, an involved father for 49, and a delighted Papa for 10. Bob was a lifelong ham radio operator and tinkerer; he fixed computers, tools, and problems. He leaves behind a shed full of broken tools, and a family full of broken hearts.

Left to cherish his memory: Bob's loving wife of 54 years; Gale M. Bischoff, one daughter, Heather Bischoff, one son, Jason Bischoff and his wife Denise, and a grandson, Nolan Bischoff.
