Robert "Rob" Harold Goins, age 76 , of Rutherfordton, NC, died Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at his home. He was the son of the late Roy Lee Goins & Mamie Causby Goins and a native of Rutherford County. Rob was a hard worker and never met a stranger. He loved to fish, work on antique cars, shoot pool, ride four-wheelers and dune buggies. Robert was a loving father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by two daughters; Amanda Beth Goins and Penny Christine Hawthrone. Survivors include; One Daughter: Susan Goins Vickers and her husband George. Four Grandchildren: Amanda Hill, Kimberly Hall, Mamie Fitzgerald, Brooke Vickers. Seven Great-Grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Oak Springs Baptist Church. The funeral service will be at Oak Springs Baptist Church at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 23, 2019 with Reverend Alvin Allen officiating. Interment will be at Oak Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
