James Robert McClure, age 66, of Fort Washington, MD, died Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Rutherford Regional Medical Center in Rutherfordton, NC.  Robert was the son of the late James Andrew McClure and the late Frances Elizabeth Riddle McClure and was born August 12, 1959 in Rutherford County.

Robert is survived by his two daughters; Kaitlin McClure  (Devin) of Lakeland, FL and Glorianna McClure of Fort Washington, MD. One sister Sara McClure Adams (Sam) of Rutherfordton

The family will hold a private service for Robert at a future date. McMahan's Funeral Home & Crematory
