Ronald "Ronnie" Lee Hardin, age 73, of Shingle Hollow, died Monday, September 16, 2019, at the Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville.

He was the son of the late Roy Hardin and the late Mae Hardin. Ronnie was a native of Rutherford County and a member of Piney Knob Baptist Church. He was a Deacon, sang in the choir, and helped with lighting. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his wife: Janice Bright Hardin.

Two Daughters: Rhonda Lovelace and husband Kevin; Kelly Harris and husband Steven;

One Son: Bryan Hardin and wife Angie;

Two Sisters: Glenda Searcy and Sandra Clontz;

Six grandchildren

The family will receive friends Thursday, September 19, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Piney Knob Baptist Church. The funeral service will be at Piney Knob Baptist Church at 3:00 PM, Friday, September 20, 2019 with Reverend Michael Brown and Reverend Rick Wall officiating. Interment will be at Piney Knob Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.
