Ronnie Lail

Ronnie E. Lail, age 79, of Rutherfordton, died Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at his home. 

Ronnie was the son of the late Furman Lail and Marie Morrow Lail and a native of Rutherford County. He was a member of Lebanon Methodist Church and worked in management at Spindale Mills and later at Hamrick Mills. He was preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Clementine Esther Lail, and a brother Larry Dean Lail.

 Ronnie loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his loving wife; Connie Gantt Lail and daughter Rachael Ownbey (Nickey) and son James Lail (Elexus). Four Grandsons: Avery Lail, Elijah Lail (Anna), Jackson Lail, and Nick Ownbey (Lauren) Two Great-Grandchildren: Magnolia Lail and Beaumont Lail. 

There will be a private family memorial service for Ronnie.
