Rosalind Elizabeth "Louise" Blecher, age 86, of Rutherfordton, died Monday, January 2, 2023, at her home.

She was the daughter of the late Amon Weaver and the late Cedell Lela Simmons Weaver Moss of Union County, TN. She was a1955 graduate of RS Central High School and was also a member of Mountain Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years Byron Blecher; an infant daughter Jacklyn Blecher, a sister, Geraldine Weaver and step-brother Scott Moss.

Louise enjoyed growing a summer garden and reading. She was devoted to her family, and took great care of them. She was hard working, independent and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include, one daughter, Tonita Woods of the home, four sons, Raymond Blecher (Kathleen) of Aledo, TX, Robert Blecher (Lisa) of Forest City, NC, Ronald  Blecher of the home, and Richard Blecher (Brenda) of Denver, NC, four grandchildren, Bambi St. John, Brian Woods (Linsey), Beth Shaver (Chris), and Adam Blecher (Brooke), and five great-grandchildren, Alexia Bentley Remmick, Electra and Leo Shaver, and Oliver Blecher. Other family left to cherish her memory are nephews and nieces, Eric Weaver (Wanda), Rachel Brown (Richard), Lela and Waylon Brown.
