Ruth Keeter Lovelace

Ruth Keeter Lovelace, age 87, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Sunday, July 19, 2026, at Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills .

Ruth was the daughter of the late Rosell Keeter and Maggie Lowery Keeter and a native of Union County, NC. She was also preceded in death by her husband Kenneth F. Lovelace and her brothers Robert Keeter, Henry Keeter and Willie Keeter. She was a member of Cane Creek Baptist Church and attended Fork Creek Baptist Church.

Ruth is survived by her two twin daughters:

Patricia Adams (Ricky) of Rutherfordton, NC and Vickie Lovelace of Panama City, FL.

Two Sons: Roger Lovelace of Rutherfordton and Boyd Lovelace of Forest City.

One Sister: Daisy Keeter Laughter and a dear friend Lisa Moore of Panama City, FL.

Ten Grandchildren

Thirty-one Great-Grandchildren

Five Great-Great-Grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at McMahan's Funeral Home. The Funeral service will be at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 21, 2026 with Reverend Billy Cogdell officiating. McMahan's Funeral Home & Crematory in charge of arrangements.
