Sandra (Sandi) Lucille DeWolf, born on December 25, 1949 (age 72) of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away Tuesday, September 6th, 2022, at Accordius Health in Rutherfordton, NC.

She was the daughter of the late Stanley and Ruth Kornacki, and was a native of Michigan. In addition to her parents, Sandi was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Clyde Hodge.

Sandi loved her children and grandchildren. She loved time with her family, decorating homes, and shopping - especially if it involved a sale rack! Having a shared birthday with Christmas, she enjoyed making that time special for loved ones and decorating her home for the holidays.

Sandi is survived by her husband, Dale Louis DeWolf, one daughter, Dena Duignan, two sons, Dale DeWolf  (Julie), and Jeff DeWolf (Janelle), two sisters, Deanna Blakley (Larry), and Carole Hodge, and seven grandchildren, Julia, McKenna, Haley, Jack, Bennett, Lucy, Molly, and Jake.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cure Alzheimer's Fund, 34 Washington Street, Suite 200, Wellesley Hills MA 02481.

Arrangements are being handled by McMahan's Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Rutherfordton, NC.

Final interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan with a graveside ceremony for immediate family on Monday, September 12, 2022 at 1:30 PM through Wujek Calcaterra & Sons in Shelby Township, Michigan.
