Warren "Scott" Jones, age 65, of Forest City, NC, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at his home.

Born and raised in Rutherford County, Scott was the son of the late C.F. and Jessie Jones. He graduated from R.S. Central High School in 1978 and was a devoted fan of the Clemson Tigers. Scott enjoyed watching NASCAR and cherished time spent with his daughters and grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Scott was preceded in death by his sister, Cricket Jones, and his brother, Ronnie Jones.

Scott is survived by his daughters, Cortney Wall and her husband Brad, Abbie White and her husband Josh, and Chandler Jones; his brother, Freddie Jones and wife Kim; his sister-in-law, Marilyn Jones; and his four cherished grandchildren, Tanner Wall, Taylor Wall, Sophie White, and Ben White.

A private graveside service will be held for Scott, with interment at Rutherfordton City Cemetery. McMahan's Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
