Shannon McMahan, age 54, of Forest City, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2020, at Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills.

He was the son of John McMahan and the late Donna Jenkins McMahan. He loved computers, fishing and honey-bee keeping.

In addition to his father, survivors include:

One daughter, Jessica McMahan and two grandchildren, Skylar Lovelace and Joshuwa Hamrick. Carolyn Horton his aunt and caregiver. Two brothers, Kenny McMahan and Jimmy McMahan and one sister, Anna Ward. He is also survived by a large number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

The graveside service will be held at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in Forest City, at 4:00 PM, Wednesday, October 7, 2020 with Reverend Lisa Moore officiating.
