Sherry Renee Bailey, age 44, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away Friday, April 16, 2021, at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.

She was a native of Cleveland County and she worked as a certified nursing assistant. Sherry was preceded in death by her mother Debra Rhodes Bailey, daughter Morgan Renee Hodge, and paternal grandfather Claude Bailey.

She is survived by, one son, Hunter Claude Bailey, her father Mitch Bailey and step-mother Debra Callahan, one brother, Scott Bailey, one step-brother, Rodney Callahan, two step-sisters, Amber Vause, and Deanna Griffey, paternal grandmother, Alice Bailey, two nephews, Mitchell Bailey and Cody Bailey, and lots of aunts, uncles, and other family members,

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday, April 19, 2021 at McMahan's Funeral Home. The graveside service will be at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Polk County, at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, April 20, 2021 with Reverend Mike Frazier officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery Polk.
