Sue Belle Earley Landis, age 103, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Tuesday, February 4, 2020.

She was the daughter of the late Alexander Earley and the late Eliza Corn Earley and a native of Rutherford County.  She was the widow of the late Ray Landis.  Sue was a member of Green Hill Bapitst Church.  She was preceded in death by one daughter Ann Clements Montieth and one son Oliver Clements Jr.; four brothers; Claude Earley, Walter Earley, Homer Earley and Roland Earley; three sisters; Louise Earley Allen, Mattie Earley Burgess and Betty Earley Calloway.

She is survived by

One Son: Walter Hicks Clements and his wife Jennifer of  Bellingham Washington. 3 Grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and and a number of nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service in honor of Sue Belle will be held for the family. McMahan's Funeral Home & Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
