Sue L. McKeithan, age 90, of Forest City, died Sunday, December 18, 2022, at Henderson Care Center in Forest City, NC.

She was the daughter of the late Charles Lavender and Adda Price Lavender. Sue was a native of Rutherford County and a member of Concord Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry McKeithan, five sisters, Blanche Davis, Georgianna Carpenter, Dot Callahan, Jean Butler, and Mae Hughes, and two brothers, Yates Lavender, and Brent Lavender.

Survivors include, two sons, Brian Douglas Harris, and his wife Amanda, Wayne Mack Harris, and his wife Judy, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

There will be a gathering of family and friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday, December 23, 2022, at McMahan's Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, P.O. Box 336 Forest City, NC 28043.
