Syble L. Hill, age 89, of Rutherfordton, died Thursday, February 4, 2021, at her residence.

She was the daughter of the late Adam Burrell and Roberta England Burrell. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles F. Hill and sisters Connie Abrams and Wilma Fowler.

Syble was a native of Rutherford County. She was a member of Piedmont Baptist Church. She taught painting at the Senior center.

Survivors include:

One Son: Michael Hill and his wife Mary

One Daughter: Cheryl Austin

One Brother: Glen Burrell

One Sister: Christine Smith

Six Grandchildren

Six Great-grandchildren

The family will receive friends from 10 AM to 11 AM Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Piedmont Baptist Church. The funeral service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Piedmont Baptist Church with Reverend Ad Hopper officiating. Interment will be in Piedmont Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Hospice of the Carolina Foothills P.O. Box 336 Forest City, NC 28043.

The wearing of mask and social distancing is required.
