Terry Lee Anders, age 71, of Rutherfordton, died Friday, July 3, 2020, at Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills in Forest City.

He was the son of the late Willie Ray Anders and the late Edna Odom Anders. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by infant brother James Ray Anders and infant sister Ella Joanne Anders.

Terry was a native of Rutherford county and a member of Second Baptist Church. He was a U S Army veteran of the Vietnam War in which he was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He loved photography.

Two Sons: Trent Anders and his wife Fowlen Casey Anders and his wife Christy

One granddaughter: Caroline Anders

Three grandsons: Camden Anders, Henry Anders and James Anders

The family will receive friends Sunday, July 5, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Second Baptist church sanctuary.  The funeral service will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, July 5, 2020 at Second Baptist Church with Reverend Dr Keith Stephenson, Reverend Brandon Wood and Reverend Jerry Ruppe officiating. Interment will be at Southern Baptist Church Cemetery, Rutherfordton, NC. Memorials can be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills P.O. Box 336 Forest City, NC 28043.
